His passion for environmental, heritage & land-use planning with knowledge of associated management strategies enable him to facilitate with all role players and to implement workable policies. His experience in rural and urban conservation with the emphasis on environmental impact and management with focus on sustainable development enabled him to have various publications. He has hands-on expertise in heritage, conservation and recreation discipline with the emphasis on creating economic and employment opportunities. With sufficient practical experience in terms of the criteria of the Interim Certificate Board for Environmental Assessment Practitioners of South Africa (EAPSA) for registration, Paul was registered as an Environmental Assessment Practitioner. He is also a member of the International Association for Impact Assessment (IAIA) and accredited with the Association of Professional Heritage Practitioners – Western Cape (APHP).

She has extensive experience in environmental management in the mining, motor manufacturing and construction industries, with specific reference to impact assessment, pollution management, EMS, water use licencing and auditing. Amanda is a member of Water Institute of South Africa and IAIAsa.

Her key professional interests include the conservation, management, and restoration of natural resources and associated ecosystems. She is particularly passionate about maintaining healthy human-nature connections and advancing sustainability in all sectors of development. She has specialist experience in the field of aquatic ecology with specific reference to impact assessment in the agricultural, residential development, renewable energy, resort development and biodiversity conservation sectors. Throughout her studies, internship, and consultancy experience, she has gained valuable and informed insight into a broad range of topics related to the natural environment, as well as many key research and monitoring skills.

Graduated from Stellenbosch University in 2005 with a Bachelor’s degree in International Studies after which she completed her Master’s degree in Cultural Tourism and Heritage Studies in 2007. Jenna has gained experience in the field of environmental and heritage planning since interning for the CoCT’s Environmental and Heritage Resource Management Department in 2008 and thereafter working, within the private sector, as an Environmental Assessment Practitioner from 2009 to present day. She has gained extensive experience in the vast field of Environmental Management generally through the undertaking of projects associated with activities triggering the EIA Regulations in accordance with the National Environmental Management Act, 1998. However, she has also worked closely on projects link to the protection and management of heritage resources in terms of the National Heritage Resources Act, 1998. With sufficient practical experience in terms of the criteria of the Interim Certificate Board for EAPASA for registration, Jenna was registered as an Environmental Assessment Practitioner. She is also a member of the International Association for Impact Assessments (IAIAsa) and an accredited Associate member with the Association of Professional Heritage Practitioners – Western Cape (APHP).

Professionally, she is passionate about conservation, terrestrial ecology, human-nature associations, and sustainability. She has previously worked as a GIS intern and a floral specialist gaining experience in spatial analysis, terrestrial ecosystem management, impact assessments and restoration ecology.
